Lactation Support
Building a healthy, happy feeding relationship from the very start.
About This Service
Building a healthy, happy feeding relationship from the very start.
Breastfeeding and chest feeding can be one of the most beautiful and one of the most challenging parts of early parenthood — and you should not have to figure it out alone. Village Her provides compassionate feeding support, education, and guidance for families navigating breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, combination feeding, and newborn feeding concerns. Our certified lactation counselors are here to ensure that every nursing parent has the support they need to establish a healthy, happy feeding relationship from the very start. When a family's needs extend beyond our scope, we work collaboratively with IBCLCs and healthcare providers to ensure they receive the care they deserve — because your feeding journey belongs to you, and we will always advocate for it. Many of our overnight newborn care specialists are also certified lactation counselors, so support can be woven seamlessly into your overnight care placement. Lactation counselors can also be requested as a standalone in-home or virtual consultation. All of our lactation counselors are trained and certified through the Healthy Children's Project.
